Christophe Soumillon could be the solution to Ballydoyle’s current issues with their riding arrangements, trainer Aidan O’Brien revealed at a pre-Irish Champions Festival press event at his yard.

The powerhouse operation was dealt a significant blow with the news that stable jockey Ryan Moore will miss much, if not all, of the rest of the season with a broken leg, while Wayne Lordan, who has been having such a good run for the stable, is currently set to miss Irish Champions’ Weekend due to suspension.
