Just as he was in round one, De Lahdedah rates the bet of the round when he contests heat three in round two, session one of the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby this evening in Shelbourne Park.

Liam Dowling's terrific tracker made a winning start in round one despite having to wait longer than ideal for the gaps to open for him. All class, he picked up sharply in the closing stages to win that one, and there is every reason to believe he will be better this time. He looks capable of turning in front this time but even doing so in second or third position should be enough to put him in the right spot to win the heat.
