Long odds-on favourite Anzadam outclassed his two rivals in the Naas Grade 3 Business Club Limestone Lad Hurdle and “could be anything” according to trainer Willie Mullins who shared a Sunday treble with Paul Townend in Naas.
Sent off at 1/10, Anzadam, in the familiar Donnelly colours, stalked his two rivals, cruised into contention at the second last and, having negotiated the final flight, powered clear for Paul Townend to beat Beacon Edge by eleven lengths.
