He had to wait 90 minutes longer than expected but Willie Mullins became a Cheltenham centurion when Jasmin De Vaux gave him a record-extending 13th win in the Weatherbys Champion Bumper.

A day one treble suggested an unprecedented Festival century before the 2024 meeting reached its halfway point was an inevitability and Mullins moved within two wins of the ton when Ballyburn produced a visually spectacular performance to win the Gallaghers Novices’ Hurdle by 13 lengths.
