A faller on his seasonal debut at Down Royal, the Gordon Elliott-trained Better Days Ahead should make amends in the Sign Up To GavinLynch.com Maiden Hurdle on Friday’s rescheduled card in Fairyhouse.

The Milan gelding, sent off at 8-15 for his hurdling bow, looked poised to score when crashing at the third last flight in Down Royal, before stable-companion Zefiro Dodville came from off the pace to land the spoils.
