Barizan win could see him Galway-bound

Barizan earned a possible trip to Galway after putting his problems behind him with a gritty display to take the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle at Haydock.

The seven-year-old had lost his way after a successful juvenile campaign that saw him finish second in the Triumph Hurdle and win a Grade One at Punchestown.
