Grand National-winning jockey Ryan Mania is hoping to leave hospital today after undergoing a final MRI scan.

Mania, 23, was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Newcastle following a fall at Hexham on Sunda, the day after he tasted National succes on the Sue Smith-trained Auroras Encore.
