Wootton Bassett out of Guineas frame

Richard Fahey has run out of time with Wootton Bassett and has ruled him out of this month’s Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Fahey admitted earlier this week he had been desperate to get another key piece of work into his colt, who had suffered a setback in his preparation earlier in the year.
