Wolverhampton set for Friday check

Wolverhampton clerk of the course Fergus Cameron has called a precautionary inspection ahead of this afternoon’s meeting.

Cameron reports the track to be raceable at present but plans to check conditions at 10am as he expects the temperature to drop a little further over the coming hours.

He said: “The temperature is likely to drop further this morning and then rise to 0C to 1C but obviously there is a wind chill with that.

“We were raceable at 6am, the inspection is precautionary and is just to flag up the situation to people.”
