Kauto Star is set for a course of antibiotics after tests revealed he is suffering from an infection following his eclipse in the King George VI Chase last Saturday.

The 11-year-old was bidding for a fifth successive triumph in the Kempton feature but had to settle for third behind impressive winner Long Run.
