Navan and Thurles frozen off as -10C temperatures hit
This afternoon’s meetings at Navan and Thurles have both been cancelled due to frozen tracks.
Both courses were hit by sub-zero temperatures overnight and there will now be no racing in Britain or Ireland.
Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: “Both meetings are both off following a severe overnight frost.
“Both tracks are unfit for racing and temperatures dipped below -10C here overnight, so they had no chance.”
