Bleak outlook for Tuesday meet at Hereford
Hereford's meeting on Tuesday is already in doubt due to the return of the cold snap.
Clerk of the course Keith Otteson has called an inspection for 10am on Sunday, with prospects of racing poor.
"It got to -3C overnight and we've got a little bit of snow on top of the fleece covers at the moment," said Otteson.
"The outlook is not for any improvement. The temperature is not set to get above zero during the day and with overnight temperatures tonight and tomorrow of -4C to -6C I thought we would have an inspection on Sunday.
"The forecast is for the weather to deteriorate and for us to get snow on Sunday.
"Between now and Tuesday, Sunday seems to be the best time to take complete stock. If anything changes we will obviously update it tomorrow."
