Predergast smitten by Kissable
Kevin Prendergast is anticipating a bold show from Kissable when she lines up in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.
After having opened her account in a Leopardstown maiden, the juvenile went on to finish a creditable third in the Group Three Silver Flash Stakes at the same track.
Prendergast saddled Termagant to win the Group One prize 12 months ago but will not be drawn into comparing the duo.
âKissable has come on well and weâre hoping for a good run. I think the track will suit her better than Leopardstown,â the trainer told At The Races.
âLeopardstown was a bit tight for her and she got a bit far back and came home well.
âShe definitely needs a good dig in the ground, which hopefully weâll get on Sunday.
âItâs a Group One and weâd be delighted if weâre in the first three or four.
âIt would be very difficult to compare her to Termagant. It was very heavy ground last year and I think she acted well in it.â
Prendergast also has Seeharn engaged in Sundayâs race, but revealed she will not be taking her chance.
âSeeharn is a non-runner as she just tweaked a muscle when she ran in the Debutante Stakes the last day and she isnât ready to run again yet,â the trainer added.
