Rasen to check

Tomorrow's meeting at Market Rasen will need to pass a 3pm inspection this afternoon due to the threat of snow.

Parts of the course are currently frozen and snow has been falling in the area since 7am.

Clerk of the course Sulekha Varma said: "It is currently snowing but not heavily however it has been falling since 7am and is forecast to continue until 12pm.

"We've got around 5-6cm, not much and not all of the grass is covered yet.

"If it improved this afternoon we'll probably have another look in the morning."
