Further inspection at Lingfield
Lingfield will hold a further inspection at 8.30am ahead of today’s scheduled all-weather meeting on the Polytrack.
It had been thought the Surrey venue would miss the worst of the snowfall afflicting much of the country but a change in the forecast put officials there on red alert and last night an inspection was called.
The 6.30am inspection this morning amid snowfall proved inconclusive, with officials opting to assess conditions – including the access roads to the course - later in the day.
