Grant celebrates birthday with Wetherby win

Chris Grant celebrated his 53rd birthday today with a winner as Ravati galloped his rivals into submission in division one of the Rachel Wright Memorial Hurdle at Wetherby.

The three-year-old was sent off at 15-8 having made been brought down on his previous outing at Sedgefield, which resulted in a nasty spill for today's pilot Lucy Horner, although thankfully she escaped serious injury.
