Freddie Head's ace has already bounced back from a poor display in the Prix d'Ispahan on her seasonal debut by posting two Group One victories in the Falmouth Stakes last month and the Prix Rothschild at Deauville on Sunday.

"Goldikova is going for the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville on August 16. She is very well since her victory in the Prix Rothschild," said the Chantilly trainer.

"She has looked back to her best on her last two starts and she has always been a top-class filly."

"The plan is still for her to return to Santa Anita in November to defend her crown in the Breeders' Cup Mile."
