Trainer Michael Stoute has decided against running Ballymacoll Stud's unbeaten filly, who had been as low as 7-1 for the big race.

Winner of a Doncaster maiden on her debut last October, she was thrust into the Oaks limelight when easily taking a Sandown handicap on her reappearance last week.

"We are not running Leocorno in the Oaks, and we will make a final decision about the participation of Phillipina and July Jasmine after they have worked at the weekend," Stoute told wwwracingpost.com.

"Frankie Dettori is available to ride in the Oaks and if we run both of them, he could take the ride on one of them."

Phillipina is currently a 16-1 chance, while July Jasmine is a top-priced 33-1 as Stoute seeks his third Oaks success.

Oaks favourite Sariska delighted connections in a workout on the Newmarket gallops on Wednesday morning when ridden by her big-race jockey Jamie Spencer.

The daughter of Pivotal, trained by Michael Bell, leapt to the head of the ante-post market with an emphatic victory in the Musidora Stakes at York earlier this month.

"Jamie rode her and we were all happy with the way she has come out of the Musidora. She's in great form," said Bell.
