Work on re-roofing two stands at Yarmouth racecourse is set to be completed this week in time for the two-day Easter meeting that opens the seaside track's 2009 Flat season.

"Everything will be fine. The two older stands will both have new roofs on come Easter Monday," said clerk of the course Charlie Moore.

"They have both been completely re-roofed and it will be done hopefully by Wednesday."

As well as racing on the Bank Holiday and Easter Tuesday, the Norfolk venue has an extra fixture on Thursday, April 30.

"April will be a busy month but we are all set. The track is looking good, the grass is beginning to grow and things are getting better and better," Moore added.
