Sedgefield card beaten by weather

Officials at Sedgefield have been forced to abandon this afternoon’s meeting due to a waterlogged track.

The Durham venue was covered in snow 24 hours ago and although clerk of the course Charlie Moore initially called an inspection for 4pm on Monday afternoon, he then decided to take a second look at 7.30am today.
