Fifteen Love Cambridgeshire bid depends on ground
Roger Charlton is hoping for a couple of dry weeks to allow Fifteen Love to take his chance in the totesport.com Cambridgeshire at Newmarket.
The three-year-old is enjoying a lucrative campaign having won the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot and the even more valuable totesport Mile at Glorious Goodwood.
He was slightly disappointing when upped to Group company in Turkey last time and Charlton is praying for fast conditions at Headquarters on October 4.
“He is a possible for the Cambridgeshire but he is a fast ground horse,” Charlton told At The Races.
“We are going to have to see what the weather is doing nearer the time and then make a decision.
“At this stage, I would say it is 50-50 whether he will run or not.”
