Galway Plate the feature race on day three in Ballybrit

The Galway Plate is the feature race of today's card at the annual Galway Festival in Ballybrit.

Day three of the festival sees a shift to afternoon racing, with the eight-race card due to get underway at 1.50pm.

Plate specialist Ansar will be looking to win the blue-riband event for the third time, but the soft ground will be a worry for trainer Dermot Weld.
