Graham Lee will be out of action for an indefinite period after being concussed in an incident at Worcester on Wednesday.

Although the jockey escaped serious injury, he will have to pass a baseline test before taking the reins again after being unseated from Pride Of Mine in the Racecourse Venue For Conferences And Events Mares Only Maiden Hurdle.

Lee’s agent Richard Hale said: “He was concussed afterwards so he’s signed off for the moment.

“He will just have to take a baseline test when he thinks he’s all right again and if he passes that, he can ride again afterwards.

“He’ll do that when he feels fully right. I don’t know when he’ll do that but there’s no worries.”
