Ellison hoping for diamond show

Trainer Brian Ellison expects both Carte Diamond and Tilt to play prominent roles in tomorrow's John Smith's Northumberland Plate at Newcastle.

Tilt finished third in the two-mile feature last year while Carte Diamond, who suffered two bad injuries during an abortive trip to Australia for the 2005 Melbourne Cup, has pleased in two runs since his return to action earlier this season.
