Spacious swung back into action on Saturday morning, working for the first time since finishing second in the 1000 Guineas.
The Nayef filly was beaten just half a length by Natagora in the Newmarket Classic at the beginning of the month and trainer James Fanshawe has been satisfied with her progress since.
“She did her first bit of work this morning since the Guineas and seems in great shape,” he said.
“I hope she will improve and she’s given me indications she will.”
Spacious was having just her third career start at Newmarket and now heads for the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot after bypassing a run in the Irish Guineas last weekend.
“I was very pleased with her run at Newmarket as she only started to come to herself about 10 days before the race,” Fanshawe told At The Races.
“I’m glad I didn’t run her in Ireland last week as the ground was quick.”
