Redcar given green light

This afternoon’s meeting at Redcar has been given the all-clear after a dry night in Tees Valley.

Track officials ditched plans for a 7.30am precautionary inspection after the forecast showers failed to materialise.

“We go ahead and everything is fine for racing,” said Redcar chief executive Neil Etherington.

The seven-race card is scheduled to commence at 2.30pm, with the going soft, good to soft in places.
