Worcester passes inspection

This afternoon’s meeting at Worcester has been given a tentative go-ahead following an inspection.

Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron assessed conditions with a number of trainers and jockeys after the course was hit with a deluge of rain.

Cameron was able to give the fixture the thumbs-up, but will monitor the situation closely as it develops.

He said: “We have passed the inspection but we’ll have to keep an eye on things and proceed on a race-by-race basis.”
