Fontwell passes inspection

This afternoon's meeting at Fontwell is to go ahead after the track passed an inspection.

Clerk of the course Ed Arkell did not have to wait until 9am to give the meeting the go-ahead, taking an earlier look after conditions improved.

He added: “Racing goes ahead. We’ve had a look and we’re fine now.”
