More Cheltenham practice for Miami
Moon Over Miami will be given another opportunity to familiarise himself with the hustle and bustle of a busy raceday crowd before he bids for Cheltenham Festival glory.
Charlie Mann’s charge lost his chance down at the start before the Kingmaker Novice Chase at Warwick recently and boiled over, which led to him bursting a blood vessel in the race.
Still as low as 12-1 with William Hill for the Arkle at Cheltenham, the seven-year-old was at Ascot last weekend and is now set for a trip to Newbury before he arrives at Prestbury Park.
“He went to Ascot last Saturday and behaved himself well,” said Mann.
“He’s on all sorts of calmers right now. I just think we were unlucky at Warwick in that he got to the start too soon and he just blew his top.
“He’s going to hopefully have a walk round at Newbury next week and then it will be off to Cheltenham.
“We’ll give him plenty of experience of the crowd and I’m sure he’ll be all right.”
