Pipe assembles strong Classic team
David Pipe could run all three of his entries in the totesport.com Classic Chase at Warwick on Saturday.
The Pond House handler can choose from Sixo and Welsh National casualties Dom D’Orgeval and Not Left Yet.
Sixo had some decent form in the book but has been off the track for over 1000 days.
“He had a tendon injury, I’m not sure if he’ll run on Saturday but he will be out in the very near future,” said Pipe.
“Dom D’Orgeval has a lot of weight but he seems fine after the Welsh National. We also have Not Left Yet in there.
“He (Not Left Yet) slipped up in the Welsh National but both have come out of it well and neither of them had hard races.
“We will probably have a couple of runners but we might run all three.”
Pipe revealed a decision has yet to made regarding the next assignment for Boylesports.com International winner Osana.
Haydock’s Champion Hurdle Trial on January 19 is currently the preference if the ground is suitable.
Pipe added: “We will just wait to see what the ground is like at Haydock but it was very wet there the last day.”
