Wolverhampton passed fit for racing

This evening’s meeting at Wolverhampton, which was in jeopardy due to the threat of fog, has been given the go-ahead.

Although the six-race card, due to commence at 7pm, has been delayed, clerk of the course Fergus Cameron was finally able to give a positive bulletin after two earlier inspections.

“We have been given the all-clear and it’s all systems go,” said Cameron.

“Things have improved considerably so it’s very good news.”
