Fog threat for Wolves

Wolverhampton’s evening meeting has been placed in some doubt due to fog.

Course officials have not called an inspection but clerk of the course Fergus Cameron is keen to put racegoers in the picture.

“Currently the fog is quite bad,” reported Cameron.

“At the minute we can see the final one and a half furlongs so we are definitely raceable at the minute.

“But the fog is coming and going so we just thought we had better let people know what the situation was.

“There is no inspection planned at present but we will be constantly monitoring the situation.”
