Bangor to inspect amid fears of a freeze
Tomorrow’s fixture at Bangor is subject to the track passing a precautionary inspection at 7.00am.
Conditions at the venue are currently described as good on the hurdles course and good to soft on the chase course, and officials are relatively upbeat regarding their prospects of beating the weather.
Clerk of the course Ed Gretton said: “There shouldn’t really be any problems and the course is perfectly raceable at the moment.
“But there is a 20% chance of temperatures getting as low as minus three degrees, so we will hold a precautionary inspection.”
