Art on course to take part in Breeders' Cup raid

Excellent Art is pencilled in to join stablemate Dylan Thomas on a two-pronged Breeders’ Cup raid from Ballydoyle.

The former finished second to Ramonti on his last start in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and is on schedule to join the Arc winner at Monmouth Park on October 27.

“It is looking as if we will have two runners at the Breeders’ Cup – Dylan Thomas in the Turf and Excellent Art in the Mile,” trainer Aidan O’Brien told the Racing Post.

“We haven’t finalised plans just yet but they might be our only runners at the meeting.”
