Godolphin snap up Creachadoir

Creachadoir, runner up in both the French and Irish 2000 Guineas, has been bought by Godolphin.

The three-year-old was last seen when finishing sixth in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot on what proved to be his last start for trainer Jim Bolger.

Creachadoir, a King’s Best half-brother to Youmzain, also won two Group Three events earlier in the season.

“We are very pleased to have Creachadoir joining our stable,” said Godolphin’s racing manager Simon Crisford.

“He has had a great season and was runner-up in the French and Irish 2000 Guineas as well as winning Group Three races at Leopardstown and the Curragh.

“No decision has yet been taken as to whether he will run again this season, but he will be a very nice horse for us to run during the Dubai International Carnival next year,” he told www.godolphin.com.
