Mountain claims Curragh honours

Dual Derby-placed Eagle Mountain finally got off the mark for the season in the United Arab Emirates Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh.

Kieren Fallon sent the 4-5 favourite into the lead from the pacesetting Decado two furlongs out and Aidan O’Brien’s charge kept on strongly to keep Alexander Tango at bay by two and a half lengths.
