Bolger's Beo raring to go
Finsceal Beo is on course to bid for redemption in the Boylesports Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh on Sunday.
Jim Bolger’s impressive winner of the Stan James-sponsored Newmarket equivalent was narrowly outpointed in the French 1,000 Guineas 10 days ago.
However, she is reportedly over those exertions and will be joined in the one-mile Classic at the weekend by stablemate Gaudeamus, who finished down the field at Leopardstown earlier in the month.
“Finsceal Beo is very well. Her trip to Paris did not take much out of her and everything has gone well,” Bolger told the Racing Post.
“I’ll also run Gaudeamus, and she’s a filly who likes to be up there in her races.”
Finsceal Beo was yesterday installed a hot favourite to regain the winning thread at the Curragh.
