Carlisle give go-ahead

This afternoon’s fixture at Carlisle will go ahead as planned after the course passed a 9.30am inspection.

Clerk of the course Jonnie Fenwicke-Clennell believed prospects were only 50-50 earlier in the day with snow on parts of the track, but the weather has improved sufficiently to give racing the go-ahead.
