Wolverhampton check again

Wolverhampton will stage a second inspection at 9.30am ahead of this afternoon’s meeting.

Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron initially inspected the all-weather venue at 6.30am due to concerns over snow on the track.

Although he reports conditions to have improved, Cameron will check again later in the morning.

He said: “We had a slight thaw yesterday afternoon but a small amount of snow is still on the track.

“We are now working the track with temperatures above freezing and we will have a second inspection at 9.30am.”
