Jockey Tony McCoy has been ruled out of action for two months after suffering a broken wrist yesterday.

McCoy also missed out on riding Far From Trouble to victory in the Galway Plate at the Galway Races, with the honour instead going to Roger Loughran.

The Galway Hurdle is the feature of the festival today, with Dermot Weld's King of Rocks among the favourites for the race.

Weld narrowly missed out on making history in the Galway Plate yesterday, with Ansar finishing second behind Far From Trouble.

Victory would have seen the horse become the first in more than 100 years to win the race on three consecutive years.
