Alexander strikes Curragh Gold

Alexander Goldrun notched a second successive win in the Group One Audi Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh.

Jim Bolger’s globe-trotting mare was sent off the 11-8 favourite to follow up on last year’s win and she looked set to power away when taking it up approaching the final furlong.
