George Washington is 2-1 favourite with the sponsors to give Aidan O’Brien a fourth triumph in the Stan James 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday.

The Ballydoyle trainer has been successful in the colts’ Classic with Footstepsinthesand last year, Rock of Gibraltar (2002) and King of Kings (1998).
