Folkestone have called a 7.30am precautionary inspection ahead of their meeting tomorrow afternoon.

Folkestone have called a 7.30am precautionary inspection ahead of their meeting tomorrow afternoon.

Officials at the track are worried about the implications of the current cold snap as temperatures could fall as low as minus three degrees.

Head groundsman Mark Chinnery said: “Temperatures are forecast to reach between minus one and minus three.

“If it’s only minus one we would be very hopeful. There is no frost at the moment, so we are hopeful at the present time.”
