Crozan subject of Gold interest
Crozan has been introduced as a 20-1 shot for the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup with VC Bet after a number of inquiries about Nicky Henderson’s five-year-old.
The Trevor Hemmings-owned gelding has only raced once in this country since arriving from France, but created quite an impression in a good novice chase at Cheltenham last month.
Henderson and Hemmings are also responsible for Gold Cup third-favourite Trabolgan, who was an impressive winner of the Hennessy on his seasonal bow.
VC Bet’s Neal Wilkins said: “Obviously someone believes Trevor Hemmings may run both Trabolgan and the exciting young prospect Crozan in the Gold Cup and we have responded to those enquiries.
“Crozan is currently on offer at 10-1 joint second-favourite for the Royal & SunAlliance Chase.”
