Motivator ruled out of Breeders' Cup

Motivator will miss the Breeders’ Cup Turf after being found to be slightly lame today.

The Vodafone Derby winner is believed to have tweaked a muscle in his off-hind leg after doing his final piece of work at Newmarket in preparation for the big race at Belmont Park next Saturday.

The colt, trained by Michael Bell and owned by the Royal Ascot Racing Club, will be now be retired to stud.
