Gray takes on HRI challenge

Caroline Gray has been appointed manager of Horse Racing Ireland’s betting division and will take up her position on September 1.

Gray’s area of responsibility will cover all aspects of betting with which HRI is involved, other than the Tote, incorporating legislation, technology developments and issues relating to betting exchanges.

HRI chief executive Brian Kavanagh said: “Caroline’s appointment represents a recognition of the fundamental importance of the betting aspect of our business (both on-course and emerging technologies) and of the need to strengthen our resources in that area.”
