Shrewd Oaks money for O'Brien filly

Coral reported significant support for UltimatePoker.com 1000 Guineas winner Virginia Waters in the Vodafone Oaks today.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained filly, eighth in the Irish equivalent last Sunday, is 11-2 from 7-1 for the Epsom feature on Friday week, although she will need to be supplemented.

William Hill quote her at 7-2 ‘with a run’.

“There are very few confirmed runners for the Oaks at this stage but the money for Virginia Waters strongly suggests she will be added to the field,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

The supplementary stage for the Oaks is Saturday.
