Dobbin taken to hospital

Tony Dobbin was taken to the Borders General Hospital at Melrose with a shoulder injury after taking a crashing fall on Sunday Rain in the Pat De Clermont Handicap Chase at Kelso today.

Sunday Rain was fatally injured in the fall at the third fence and Dobbin, who initially appeared to be partly trapped by the gelding, was attended by paramedics before being stretchered into an ambulance.
