Robert Winston was referred to the stewards of the Jockey Club after being found guilty of careless riding at Southwell today.

Winston, partnering Madiba in the Bet Direct In Vision Sky Page 293 Handicap, was adjudged to have caused interference to Finger Of Fate, the mount of Luke Fletcher.

Winston’s mount drifted left in the straight and did Finger Of Fate no favours.

As he had already received suspensions totalling 22 days in the past 12 months, Winston was sent on to Portman Square.

Hayley Turner was suspended for one day (January 26) for not riding to her draw on Kennington, the winner of the Bet Direct No Q 08000 93 66 93 Median Auction Maiden Stakes.
