Down Royal have abandoned the two chases due to be run at Thursday’s meeting after the course was found to be unfit for racing.

The Beechlawn Motors Handicap Steeplechase and the Down Royal Beginners Steeplechase have been cancelled and two of the remaining races will be divided to form a six-race programme.
